Apr 16, 2012 - I'm quite unsatisfied with both the hostel the service that Hostelsclub provided. I made a reservation to AWA Lisbon Hostel Imperial and when I got there I found out that the place was in fact overbooked and that they had no previous knowledge of my reservation. The hostel's owners called to a nearby hostel that luckily had available rooms. However, the owners of the hostel said that they considered that the money I paid in advance as payment for that service of finding me a place to stay... classy. I wrote an email to Hostelsclub explaining the situation and I was told that this is in fact a common practice in this kind of situations, i.e., that the 10% fee is not reimbursed if the hostel's administrators "provide" the client a similarly budgeted place to stay, relegating all responsibility to the hostel's administrators. So both, the hostel and Hostelsclub refused to reimburse money paid in advance for a service that was never given.
One more thing: the hostel's address is mislocated in the map.
Mar 05, 2012 - This hostel is not advisable to older guests. It is located on the 5th floor without elavator. Very basic facilities and very old, but right at the center of the city. Good transportation from Airport to Hostel.

May 16, 2011 - Some of staff DON'T SPEAK ENGLISH. At all. So if you'll arrive at wrong time with wrong receptionist it will be a problem for you to check in. There is also no feedback between main office (who answers e-mails) and this hostel.
Good for just sleeping not having fun.

May 02, 2011 - Das große Plus dieses Hostels ist seine Lage, von der man alles sehr gut erreichen kann. Ansonsten bleibt mir relativ wenig positives zu sagen. Von der Sauberkeit her ist es ok und die Zimmer annehmbar. Personal war bis auf eine Ausnahme sehr unfreundlich
