Oct 31, 2008 - We enjoyed our stay at Cruz Sol. The room was clean, but a bit small. It was a surprise that we got a room at 1st floor,outside the hostel. The staff was friendly, but the most of them did not speak English very well. It also was a surprise that we could have acheived a lower rate by booking directly to the hostal. By the way,The Finnish language at your website and this scheme is quite funny :-)
Jul 10, 2008 - If you want an incredibly convenient, cheap, no-frills place to stay right in the heart of Madrid, this is ideal. There's no fancy bits, they just do the basic things very very well. A large, clean, comfortable room, an ensuite bathroom, no noise from the street at night. Loved it. Would stay again and recommend to people i like.
