Jul 12, 2016 - Cheap, great staff, clean, cool dormmates, if all you need is a place to crash for a few nights in Amsterdam this place is perfect.
Jun 28, 2014 - Where to start we had rat poison on the room that smelt of feet towels are unwashed same as bed sheets.the best part is that you also have rats roaming freely doing as they please and the hotel staff are not bothered in the slightest as for a refund that's not happening. NO 1 SHOULD STAY AT THE DAMRAK INN ITS NOT SUITABLE FOR ANIMALS.
Aug 13, 2013 - Our stay in the hostel was quite okay I suppose. There were cut of toe nails under one bed, no clue whether it was from another person sleeping in our dorm or whether it was just not cleaned. Also the stairs are insane!! Don't go there if you are traveling with heavy suitscases! Otherwise it's very totally okay I think.
Dec 29, 2012 - Really good position in Amsterdam. The rooms were ok, fairly clean, although the sheets didn't feel clean. We lived just outside the reception, could not sleep because of loud hotel guests. Would classify this as hostel - not hotel. The staff were ok.
Oct 19, 2011 - The stairs are insane! Don't stay here if you've got lots of Luggage, more suited to a weekend/couple of nights. The position however is awesome! The beds were clean and comfy. Outside is some nice restaurants, cafe's and transport. Most important a chip shop very close by. Enjoy!!
Oct 17, 2011 - great location. The bathroom stunk. There is no common room or place to meet people, luckily we had a really cool people in our room. some staff were really good, others not so much.

May 20, 2010 - Overall decent room with tv. No smoking of any kind. Located on a main road in Amsterdam near everything. Decent beds but you can tell they are old.
Apr 17, 2010 - I like this hotel...the location is perfect, room is clean and comfortable. We got discount card for restaurant. The female staff is very polite and helpful. I got a lots information about the city from her. I enjoyed my stay with you.
