Mar 12, 2011 - Great hostel. Showers are not always hot but it's not cold either. We were on the girls floor and everything was very clean. Very near central park and a subway station. Easy to explore entire NYC. Staff was great, very helpfull. The fact that you couldn't take your suitcases upstairs wasn't inconvenient. You could stack a bag with all the belongings you needed.
Nov 04, 2010 - Very friendly staff and prepared to answer all your questions. The position of the hostel was perfect because you are not in the middle of e.g. hectic time square and gives you the feeling that you can mingle with the americans. Distance to downtown is even on walking distance or take the metro which will take only 10 minutes.
Sep 25, 2010 - I enjoyed my time in USA because this place is really good to stay, the neighborhood is quite and it is a safe place. I stayed in a girl room which is not crowded. 2 restrooms along the corridor. I met girls from other countries. The staff are helpful and nice. Just to remind after check out the luggage storage charge $1 per bag per hour.
Sep 02, 2010 - The room temperature is high without air-con especially in summer days. This will make a person keep sweating.
Jul 13, 2010 - Actually, i booked this room before i came in New York. I didn't know this place was the worst that I never seen before. So I just throwed away my 10% reservation fee it was $15 and I moved there out. I didn't want to stay even though one night.
no eleveter, no airconditional.
you have to go up 4 floor by yoru self.if you book only female' room.
Jun 23, 2010 - this is a very nice hostel. close to the subway, very close to the central park, clean, the bunk beds are made by wood and very comfortable, the rooms are big and classic ney york style, the bath rooms are big, the kitchen is big and has 2 big fridges, a cooker and dishes - all u need is there. in the lounge are nice couches - there is a nice atmosphere (the stuff is living there as well - it is not like a hostel at all, it is very nice)
May 28, 2010 - The staff were friendly and helpful, the shared room and bathroom on the girls floor were kept nicely. The subway station was just one block away - so was Central Park. It was a little distant to Lower East side where I visited the most, for about 15 min

Sep 12, 2009 - This Center is very pleasant and ideal if you're just looking for a clean place where to have a shower and sleep after spending your day visiting the city. Situated on W88th, near a subway station, you can easily reach downtown or uptown. I keep this adress for my next travel to New York.
