Jan 03, 2017 - Awful. No central heating in freezing december; not warm blanket either, only a very thin one. Dirty. Unsafe. Staff most unnice. In Europe the place would have been closed by social services since long.
Oct 17, 2015 - This hostel is in one of the sketchiest parts of downtown San Francisco. The area feels very unsafe (people sleeping in the street in front of the hostel). Staff is often unfriendly/unhelpful/absent. You may share the room with homeless people who are somehow let in. The kitchen is basically unusable; as soon as one person is in it, there is no more space. There is no safe luggage storage and the building is pretty shoddy. The main good part was bonding with other travelers about all being in the same boat!

Jul 14, 2014 - Not enough bathrooms. No aircondition. They could've changed the batteries in the smoke detector during the THREE days we stayed there. But it's located a nice place and the price is alright.

Jul 10, 2014 - rooms were nice but the shared bathroom needed to be cleaned better shower stall had some mold and the sink had a slow drain other then that the stay was enjoyable
