Jul 07, 2015 - The beds were clean and comfortable, but the bathroom was really dirty, with big puddles on the floor. The rest of the hostel was good, and the staff were friendly. The breakfast was simple (toast and various spreads) but nice.

Jun 28, 2015 - Easily the most horrible hostel where I stayed. I booked for two nights but spend here only one. Only lockers are placed in basement and it was quite creepy. There are only one key per room. So if someone is (even sleeping) in the room, door is open.
Apr 30, 2015 - Great location from Amsterdam Centraal and most of the main attractions. Grocery store right next door.
Staff was friendly and helpful, even addressing me by name.
Bathrooms were reasonably clean for number of people in the room, but they need better curtains to keep water in the shower and the rest of the place dry. Shelving in the bathroom would've been nice.
Breakfast is coffee/tea/milk/juice, and bread with cheese, butter, jam, peanut butter, or Nutella. Nothing fancy, but it was enough.
Apr 15, 2015 - Staff is the best - shout out to Ana and Johnny. Located in one of the most central and busy streets in Amsterdam. Beds are comfortable. Rooms are clean, basement not really. Smoking "room" has its charm.
Overall, I was expecting less has I booked a week before my stay (April 7-14), but Aroza surpassed my expectations and I can recommend it to every free spirit who wants to spend some time in Amsterdam.
