Jan 01, 2015 - The receptionist could be very rude. He had a terrible argue with another guest, that we heard from our room. (1floor between). We booked 4 nights and after 3 they said, we missed the check out time (in a very unfriendly tone). We had to show our reservation, then he was friendly again. Ambivalent feeling at this place. Also the heating dind't work...
Nov 07, 2012 - The hotel is just few minutes walk from the main train station, which was very convenient. Its also very close the city centre (Doumo). The hotel was clean the the staff were friendly. The shared WC is a little away from the room (depending which room you get). It could get a bit noise at night as the hotel is close to a main road.

Nov 12, 2011 - I highly recommend Hotel Pensione Ottaviani. It made our first nights in Florence very nice due to the cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms. I will come back here again.
