Apr 28, 2011 - The facilities in this hostel appear new and well maintained. The owner is friendly and helpful. The hostel is conveniently located on a side street very close to Taksim Square. Thanks to its flashing sign, it was very easy to find at night. Taksim has a very festive atmosphere, which carries over into the hostel to some extent. This is great if you're in the mood to enjoy it; if you arrive drained from a long flight or bus ride, you might want to look for a somewhat quieter hostel. Some of the people in my dorm were sharing individual beds, ostensibly because the owner had overbooked.
