Dec 15, 2017 - This is a really lovely Casa. My best room in Cuba. If you like quiet and untouristy, Matanzas is great for that. It's a 30 minute walk from city centre.

Feb 11, 2016 - We got a conformation but the Casa was not available anyway. They connected us to an other Casa a few streets away for the same price. Finding the Adress is not easy because there is a street with the same name in an other part of mantanzas.
Jan 19, 2014 - Nice place to stay and nice people. Thank you Marilyn. Food was good and smoothies freshing. Private bathroom is in excelent condition and it is large.
To the Viazul bus station it is a little bit over 1 km (it is the same as national station). You can handle from Matanzas your trips to Havana and Varadero. Be careful if you take a taxi, the range of the price is very flexible.
Matanzas has only some lively streets in the center, Medio and Milanese, they are about 1,5 - 2,0 km from this casa particular. I felt safe in this place. There are few cheats in the city, in Havana there are so many. The cheats are walking at the end of the main streets near the theatro.
Sep 29, 2013 - This is a really nice Hostel. You've got a lot of space and 2 terazas.
The owner speaks english. And the best you can go from there to the beach of Varadero in less than half an our by taxi for 2 cuc per person... (depends on the driver and the number of persons).
Matanzas is better to stay than Varadero because there are more activities to do (caves etc.), it's cheaper and more like the real CUBA.
