May 29, 2006 - The hotel was all that the website said. Only complaint was there was no elevator in the building I stayed in and that made it difficult to haul a large suitcase up 3 sets of stairs to the room. The grounds were beautiful and very picturesque, exactly what I expected in Portugal.
Jul 06, 2005 - Better than average for 2 star hotel in terms of quality of the room and surrounds. Surrounded by nice gardens. Staff are helpful, but not overly warm. Located circa 20 minutes from Sintra by bus, so either that is a positive or negative depending on what one is seeking. Turned into a negative for me (waiting for buses both ways) and the rest of my hotel stays in Portugal will be within in stumbling distance of my last activity.
