Mar 04, 2016 - Great value for money, room was nice and beds were soft and comfy. Location is great near to Ubahn station Mockenbrucke.
Maybe a few more showers would be better.
The bar in hostel is very good , works till 2 AM and good wiFi.
Nov 15, 2014 - Nos quedamos en una habitacion con baño privado, este se encontraba muy limpio y agradable,sin embargo no tenia televisor, y lo mas desagradable es que quedaba al lado de los baños compartidos por lo que el ruido por las noches y mañana era insoportable... la aislacion del ruido es un aspecto importante a considerar en esta habitacion. Bueno lo otro malo fueron las escaleras, pero como es europa estabamos un poco acostumbrados, pero el personal nos podria haber ayudado con las maletas al 4 piso.

Jul 23, 2013 - It's called Grand Hostel for a reason.
The rooms were huge, very comfortable and clean. Always felt safe, and the whole place felt very homely, as there was a great atmosphere and great people.
Twenty minutes from Checkpoint Charlie and the Topography of Terror, and right next to the U-bahn. Quite far from the incredible Kreuzberg, but very straightforward by train. The staff were VERY useful and welcoming. There were discounts and travelcards easily available. When we arrived, one member of staff sat us down and gave us a detailed overview of Berlin, recommending us places and things to do.
Highly recommended.
