Sep 01, 2017 - Location of this casa is excellent, in the center of Havana Vieja. Mary and Alexis are very friendly and helpfull. They arrange everything you need. Great breakfast! Rooms are small but clean.

Jul 31, 2017 - Our hosts were friendly and hospitable. The room was clean but had no real windows and was small. We have been put in CASA DE ALEXIS Y MARY Nr.2. Nr.1 is described on the website and is 1 km apart from nr.2. Nr.2 has a less favorable location. Be aware of this!
Jul 23, 2017 - Do not book this casa. It is a ILLEGAL casa. When we arrived at this case we were brought (by Alexis) to another casa, he said that we will stay at "Alexis y Mary number 2". When we arrived there we were brought to a very small room (bunker is indeed the best description from the reviewer before). This casa had not the facilities that they described here. There is NO terrace, NO refrigerator (yes, there was one but it was not working), NO living room or kitchen that we could use.... There is not one picture here of the place where we were brought to. We had to pay a ridiculous high price! We were in 7 casas during our stay and we can definitely say this casa has the highest price but the lowest quality. We were said that the taxi service to the airport was 25 CUC but at the end we had to pay more. Moreover, this casa is ILLEGAL since they didn't ask for our passports during our stay (they are obligated in cuba to administrate every guest). The people in this casa were friendly but the description of this casa is way from realistic.

Mar 31, 2016 - I booked the CASA in advance. I emailed the casa several times and they confirmed my booking. When we arrived and after waiting for an hour inside the casa they said the casa was fully booked. We were therefore sent to another casa (best described as bunker). The service was bad, the place was expensive and they tried to book expensive taxies for us (40CUP to the airport). After two wonderful weeks in Cuba without any problems this was a bad experience.
Mar 27, 2016 - Only complaint is that the pillows were very uncomfortable because the seemed to be made of multiple small pieces of foam. Everything else was wonderful.
