Jan 21, 2023 - Overall, a very good value for the cost, but bathrooms were not always clean, and the 14-people per room setup was a bit chaotic with people coming in and out at all hours, making noise, triple bunks, etc.
Nov 17, 2016 - The location is very convenient, especially if you need to be close to Paddington station as it was my case. For sure it was very cheap but the rooms really need some cleaning, as it was generally quite dusty. Also I got scared when I saw a little mouse freely hunging around in the lounge room :)

Mar 10, 2014 - I love this hostel! I've stayed here a few times and it's my favorite hostel in London. After traveling for 6 months, it's the perfect place to chill and look for a job or make plans for the next part of your journey. I would definitely recommend this hostel!
Nov 27, 2013 - Bunks beds were triple. Not much room if you have a lot of bags. Slightly cramped. Clean. Great location, 5-10 min walk to baker st. Station + many restaraunts. Young crowd. I would return for no more than 2 nights.
Nov 18, 2013 - Very well located, in Central London, close to tube station. Acommodation is basic, but clean (bed and toilets). My room was small, so if you want privacy or you mind others guests noise is not the place. Good for travellers looking to meet people.
Feb 17, 2012 - We enjoyed our stay at the Phoenix Hostel. The staff were very helpful and kind. We didn't have any problems with security. We didn't even need to use the secure lockers, just kept our suitcases under the bunk beds. Breakfast was also very cheap and good. Overall a great experience for the money.
