Jul 06, 2014 - Hostel is located in old building in the center of Beyoglu. Personel is really helpfull and friendly, rooms small but cosy and clean. The only minus is noise from many sourronding discos - it is very difficult to sleep with open window

May 23, 2012 - Perfect place to stay in Istanbul. I was there more than 5 times and every time was perfect so I am keep comming always the same hostel because I believe Simurg hostel is one of the bests hostels in Istanbul. Friendly staff which is always prepared to help you, perfect atmosphere, very clean rooms - they really take care about it and outstanding location from where you can easily reach all interesting parts of istanbul by foot or by public transport. Also nightlife and fun easy to reach just step away on next street.
Jan 03, 2012 - The hostel is a backpackers wet dream - the location couldn´t be better, it´s cheap and the staff is nice, but if you want clean rooms, with own bath and a more luxury feel to is, this is not the place.
Nov 10, 2011 - this is a new hostel but i am also pretty sure that the facilities will be perfect after a while and hostel will be like a second home for visitors.

Sep 30, 2011 - Simurg is the perfect place to stay, its cheap and clean, the staff is very friendly, they know nice bars and tea gardens, we had much fun together, the position is great, just in the heart of Istanbul, many bars around.
Sep 25, 2011 - This is a new&cheap hostel just in the heart of Nevizade-Beyoglu.The owners/staff are cool and helpful people. Too much night clubz around=too much noise.If you have ear plugs, Simurg is the right place to stay!
