Aug 13, 2018 - Was hoping to stay at the Bayreuth Hostel and paid my deposit for the period 10 - 12 August BUT the hostel was not in operation due to structural issues after a water leak. My deposit was not returned; I was fortunate to find an airbnb in the town. NOT VERY GOOD PR FOR THE HOSTEL. Clive Peacock, Kenilworth, England.
Sep 21, 2014 - Very cheap (for the region of Bavaria), the bathrooms are always clean, the breakfast is fine and the staff is always helpful when solicited. Unfortunately, the wi-fi signal does not reach the bedrooms, being necessary to go to the lobby to access internet and there is only one electrical outlet for a six persons bedroom. Even so, it is perfect for who needs to spend some days doing activities in the university.
