Dec 15, 2016 - Good place to sleep for cheap. Exactly what you'd expect for the price paid. You sleep on a bunk bed in a room sleeping 4 with sheets provided to place above and below you for cleanliness. There are two other similar rooms next to you, with which you share a single bathroom, toilet and shower, but somehow I never got stuck waiting for anything. The owner was also friendly and helpful. It's no hotel but I got what I needed out of it with no nasty surprises.
May 02, 2016 - The host was very nice and accomodating! She can speak english and was quite helpful in answering our questions. However, the room was a bit humid (especially the damp carpet) but it was sufficient for our 3 nights there. The bathroom was clean and the toilet was too. I wished the bed sheets were more fresh due to our arrival, although the host did provide us some new sheets afterwards (my boyfriend and I woke up with 3 new pimples on our face because of the sheets!). Aside from that, it was a pretty good experience, the station was quite near as well. As long as you dont mind the humid and damp rooms (at least mine was), all is well then. (I do think there are other hostels with similiar prices but better quality though).
Feb 17, 2016 - The hostel is actually pretty good if you're low maintenance. Breakfast is provided as bread, water, coffee and various condiments like jam and peanut butter. Perfect for the low budget traveler. The location could be better but it's not taxing to use the metro system.
All in all, I would go back. The owner is a very lovely lady, for sure.
Nov 26, 2015 - Not clean as there was a rat scurrying in the kitchen during our stay. There was no sink for use next to the bathroom/toilet - we had to walk to the kitchen.
Aug 19, 2015 - The staff were rarely available. There was no hot water for bath. The restrictions for bath in the night time is unwarranted. The bathroom is not upto the mark.
Aug 04, 2015 - Super cool staff, and cheap for where it is though it's pay-to-rent towels. The kitchen and communal area were clean. Some stains on the mattresses, but clean sheets provided. Its weakness is its location - tricky to find first time, but only 10 mins walk to a JR Station.

Apr 16, 2015 - If you go to Osaka just to visit and you have no intention to hang out in the Guest House, it will be fine.
But the room have a terrible smell, and it is not very clean. When you take a shower you MUST use flip-flops in order to avoid touching the floor and the bathtub, the curtain is full of fungus ... At least the staff is really nice, and allow you to leave you luggage before checking in and after checking out.
Apr 15, 2015 - Overall is good, friendly owner and staff, strategic place near JR station and convenient stores. Basically they provide everything needed, such as wi-fi, air-conditioner, electrical blanket, a small kitchen, and a clean and spacious room, worth for the value.
