Aug 10, 2019 - Good value hostel, close to airport for our early morning flight. Bit difficult to find but once inside the hostel gate, the place is clean and charming. We would return to spend more time with Magda, the lovely owner - and to eat more of her delicious food! Thanks for having us!

Aug 09, 2018 - Abbiamo soggiornato all’Hostal Aeropuerto dell’Avana dal 27 luglio al 29 luglio 2018 ed è stata un’esperienza unica sotto tutti i punti di vista. La casa si trova a pochi minuti dall’aeroporto ed è stata costruita nel rispetto della natura circostante. Le camere sono di nuova costruzione, arredate con gusto e pulitissime. Il punto di forza dell’Hostal Aeropuerto sono però le persone: la proprietaria Magda e la collaboratrice Jamilè. Gentili, disponibili ed attente ad ogni minimo dettaglio, possiamo affermare con certezza che chiunque desiderasse un corso accelerato di “servizio e attenzione al cliente” dovrebbe passare qui qualche settimana. Magda ci è venuta a prendere all’arrivo con la bellissima auto d’epoca tipica di Cuba e ci ha riaccompagnato al momento della partenza. Ci ha detto indicazioni preziose su come muoverci a Cuba (sia informazioni pratiche, che aspetti di cultura locale) e, con il supporto di Jamilè ci ha fatto sentire davvero subito a nostro agio. Ciliegina sulla torta la colazione e la cena!!! Colazione con frutta tropicale (mango, papaya, guayaba), succhi di frutta, “huevos fritos”, biscotti, brioches e marmellate artigianali, servita all’aperto in un bellissimo patio circondato da alberi tropicali. Cene ricche ed appetitose (a 15 Cuc a persona) con antipasto, primo e secondo (di pesce o di carne) e dolce, in un mix di sapori italo/cubani (visti i trascorsi italiani di Magda e gli “insegnamenti” del marito Chef Paolo) “conditi” dalle piacevoli chiacchierate con Magda.
Insomma un posto a 5 stelle, senza alcun dubbio, dove abbiamo vissuto pienamente la nostra esperienza cubana, a diretto contatto con la realtà locale. Lo raccomandiamo assolutamente.
Dec 14, 2017 - Great casa, looks really good! Very close to Airport, they drop you off for free in a perfect oldtimer (but if you fly in the night you have to pay extra). Far away from Havana centre, not much to do around the casa. Super friendly owner (good English). Next time I would stay in the centre of Havana though, because it's more expensive to stay here than to stay in centre and take an early taxi.

Jun 29, 2017 - This lovely B&B is run by the most fun, happy married couple. I had a horrible time with my airline and they were understanding and helpful all throughout. The food that the husband cooks is unbelievable. The wife is hilarious and the dogs were the love of my life. You don't even want to visit the rest of Cuba because to me this was paradise. They SAVED my trip; so much so that I wanted to keep them a secret but I also want to shout this is the place to be. Will visit as if they are my second family!!! Thank you! Love You! Miss the babies so much, I can't wait to go back.
May 11, 2017 - The hostel is very close to the airport, so very usefull if you just arrived in Habana.In its beautyfull internal garden you can relax at the bar or in the Jacuzzi! The rooms are very clean and with all facilities that an european tourist would like to find. Magda and Paolo are fantastic and gentle hosts! btw, Paolo is a great Italian chef! we will be back for sure
